The Lewis and Clark Expedition: Scientific Discovery - Educator's Resource Guide
Discover the Lower Columbia River through the eyes of Lewis and Clark. This guide offers exploration and discovery through the science of Lewis and Clark. Students can perform surveys just as though they were a part of the Corps of Discovery. Students will also learn about natural and cultural history of the area.

Dusky Duffels
These teacher kits contain activities, equipment, and field guides and are consolidated into a backpack that can easily travel with teachers on field trips. When a Dusky Duffel is checked out teachers receive an in class visit introducing the refuge System to Students and a volunteer guide during the refuge visit. The categories include:

  • Fledgling Young Birder (K-4)
  • Survival Adaptations of Nature (3-5)
  • Natural and Cultural History (4-8)
  • Water Quality Comparisons (6-12)
