Free Wallpapers for Friends

These wallpapers are published monthly and are available to all our Members and Supporters alike. They give you a chance to showcase the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge on your computer for your friends and family to see.

What is a desktop wallpaper?

A desktop wallpaper is what you see on your desktop when all of your windows are closed. It is the image that is used as a background on your computer screen.

How do I know what my screen resolution is AND how do I use these?

Go to this website ( http://whatis.myscreenresolution.com/ ) to find out what your current screen resolution is. Once you know this, you can click on the size below, right click on the image and click set to background. You can also right click and save the image and then set it as your background / desktop wallpaper. If you need more information on this, go here for instructions ( http://www.ehow.com/how_6007098_set-different-desktop-background-wallpaper.html ).
