*NOTICE* The River ‘S’ Unit Auto Tour Route wi *NOTICE* The River ‘S’ Unit Auto Tour Route will be closed Wednesday, December 4 for repairs of the driving loop. A few days of light/no rain are fleeting in December, so the Refuge staff have to take the chances they are given. If you have any questions or concerns, please call 360-887-4106.

Today, in honor of National Native American Herita Today, in honor of National Native American Heritage Day, we celebrate Pacific Northwest tribes like some of our partners, the @everydaychinook , @ctgrgov, and the @cowlitztribe; and the contributions, traditions, languages, and stories of all indigenous people. 

Learn more about the vibrant cultures, rich ancestry, and continued legacies of Native American people, in various online exhibitions on the Native American Heritage Month website: nativeamericanheritagemonth.gov, and follow local tribes' social pages to follow along with their stories.
